Job Description
The Associate Director for Math Nation, coordinates all things associated with the state partnership in Pennsylvania. Responsibilities include providing professional development, recruiting districts to use Math Nation, attending state / local conferences, coordinating the ordering of workbooks, handing prize deliveries, management of the state teacher wall, school visits and outreach. This full-time position reports to the Director of State Partnerships. This position requires 80% travel throughout Pennsylvania and to our corporate locations in Texas and Florida. The Associate Director meets with and presents to Pennsylvania legislatures each year on the progress of the program and testimonials from districts to help renew the contract. This position is working exclusively with our Math Nation product division. This position must reside in the state of Pennsylvania.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

- School district recruitment and onboarding
- Coordinate and help execute on the outreach strategy with others to new districts and high priority districts.
- Deliver training, coaching, and support services in person and via webinar
- Attend and present at state / local conferences
- Communication liaison between districts and the company
- Coordinate prize deliveries for monthly Karma Point winners
- Manage communication on state teacher wall
- Plan and attend Study Expert school visits
- Identify upsell opportunities and communicate those with appropriate ALI Account Manager
- Provide content for monthly state newsletter creation and distribution.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
COMPETENCIES:
- Strong understanding of best practices for educator professional development
- Expertise in math curriculum, content, and instructional strategies
- Teaching experience required; math teaching experience highly preferred.
- Passion for excellent customer service and high standards for quality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective communication with customers and colleague’s one-on-one and in large groups
- Ability to connect, engage, and energize a room full training participant
- Solid organization and planning skills, including prioritizing multiple tasks to meet deadlines
- Must be able to collaborate in a virtual team environment

- Regional travel up to 80% of the time with possibility for national travel (depending on need)
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Desire to learn new technology/software/apps
- Virtual meeting tools such as Zoom, Teams, Google Meet
- Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- G-Suite: Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides
- Salesforce.com, Training Management System
- Mac operating system/computers
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in K-12 education/administration
- Experience providing professional development to educators
- Experience writing professional development content/materials preferred
- Certified teacher preferred
- Mathematics teaching experience preferred
- Experience using Math Nation program highly desired
- Public speaking/platform experience preferred
