Job Description

The Senior Systems Analyst will report to the Senior Director, Enterprise Applications & Automation within the Technical Management Division (TMD).  The Senior Systems Analyst, will be responsible for providing technical support that will help plan, develop, and support solutions that address a range of business needs including Oracle Fusion ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) platform, Ungerboeck CRM (Customer Relationship Management), portals, workflow, forms, collaboration sites, document management, or business intelligence/reporting. In addition to gathering requirements from business stakeholders, creating, and managing application solution documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and technical background and will be comfortable interfacing with stakeholders of all levels.  As a Senior Systems Analyst, the candidate will be responsible for mentoring and leading more junior members of the team and will be an escalation point for addressing enterprise application issues. 


The Systems Analyst will collaborate with Events DC personnel throughout the business (e.g., Legal, Sales, HR (Human Resources), Convention Management, Sports & Entertainment, Financial Management, etc.), and vendors to meet our customer and business needs by:


  • Manage and respond to support and service requests as per defined SLAs
  • Communicate to the broader organization changes and enhancements in relation to functionality within enterprise applications on a regular basis.
  • Support business teams to adopt best practice and challenging current practices to drive operational efficiency.
  • Scope, prepare, develop, and present standard and ad hoc reports as required

  • Support client transformation developing enterprise-level solutions including data model creation, process workflow development, and system configuration
  • Analyze the business requirements by collaborating with the stakeholders and IT Management, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, prototypes, and diagrams.
  • Adept at leveraging innovative approaches to solutions for system design and functionality
  • Participates in stakeholder requirement gathering meetings to understand business processes and requirements
  • Serve as an escalation point for the team
  • Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and enjoyment of learning new systems
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills



  • Two years of experience in business systems supporting finance, accounting, or HR teams
  • Two years of experience with Oracle Fusion (Financial Accounting, Revenue, Accounts Payable, AR, GL, Cash Management and Fixed Asset) or equivalent
  • Three years of experience in a support or coordination role in an IT environment.
  • Three years of experience supporting and implementing Enterprise Applications
  • Knowledge and experience with Fusion HCM and Oracle Payroll or equivalent
  • Prior experience implementing a major enterprise system (example: Oracle Fusion or NetSuite ERP, Salesforce CRM, etc.)
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud reporting tools, including OTBI, BIP, BICC, and tools used to load data into Oracle Cloud or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or an IT-related field preferred.
