We are seeking a talented and motivated Application Analyst to join our dynamic team. As an Application Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the implementation, maintenance, and support of our organization's software applications. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyze user needs, and provide effective solutions to enhance system functionality and efficiency. Responsibilities: Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and vendors to gather and analyze application requirements. Design, configure, and customize software applications to meet business needs. Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve software defects and performance issues. Develop and execute test plans to ensure software quality and adherence to specifications. Provide end-user training and support during the implementation and post-implementation phases. Conduct system upgrades and enhancements in collaboration with the IT team and external vendors. Develop and maintain documentation related to application configurations, processes, and procedures. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to recommend innovative solutions and process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration efforts with other systems. Ensure compliance with security standards, data integrity, and regulatory requirements. Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support when necessary. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as an Application Analyst or similar role. Strong technical skills in software configuration, customization, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in programming languages, databases, and operating systems. Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies. Ability to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results within given timelines. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
