Summary of Position:

The LPI Logistics Coordinator coordinates all CNG movement to and from compressor stations and job locations. The Logistics Coordinator oversees all CNG logistics and compressor stations. As well as this role oversees CNG department personnel (Dispatchers, LPI Equipment Operators and Drivers) and Equipment Assets (Compressors, Tractor and CNG Trailer). The LPI Logistics Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining a proactive team to ensure reliable delivery of CNG.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • It is a condition of employment to pass the CNG certification from the Railroad Commission of Texas.
  • Management leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Good computer skills. - Proficiency in Excel.
  • Good knowledge with inventory control. - Proven inventory control experience.
  • Passion for safety and always making sure it is top priority.
  • Experience with DOT regulated transportation.
  • Must be able to motivate and discipline personnel effectively.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Identifies and addresses logistical challenges promptly to minimize disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Monitors and reports key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of logistics operations.
  • Ensures compliance with regulations governing transportation and logistics activities.
  • Ensures compliance with local regulations and codes governing the facility.
  • Plans and supervises maintenance activities to ensure the CNG facility is in optimal condition.
  • Maintains regular communication with LPI Crew Leaders to ensure smooth and complete operations.
  • Completes monthly inventories for all purchased and delivered CNG.
  • Communicates with department on hazardous risk and safety issues that might affect the job or personnel.
  • Ensures safety training is up to date.
  • Collects each pre-trip and post-trip form for all LPI equipment.
  • Ensures maintenance issues are communicated and coordinated with maintenance.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of company policies, HSE standards, and service operating procedures.
