At least 1+ years of SoftwareTesting experience in a Web application development environment. The job requiresinteracting with the software application development team, clients & andinvolvement in test design, developing test cases, test plans & and executionof Enterprise Solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

·        Software manual Testing and related activitiesin a web-based application environment.

·        To work closely in an Agile development teamenvironment and meet release plan schedules and patch management

·       Developing and implementing test plans, teststrategy, test cases, and test reports for various testing, like, regression,functional performance testing.

·        Recording and tracking defects through a Web-basedproject management tool

·        Setting up and following procedures for bug/issues/defects

·        Responsible for testing all software products/projects.

·        May need to work in flexible time to attend US/Europeclient meetings

Technical / Functional:(Must Have skills)

·        Prior experience in Testing Web-basedapplications / Enterprise level applications and solutions is a plus

·        Experience in Manual Testing. Writing Testcases,

·        Sound knowledge of STLC, software testingmethodologies and procedures

·        Identifying Test scenarios, creating test plans,test strategy, test cases, and execution.

·        Sound understanding and developing/executingtest cases in an application development environment.

·        Knowledge of Quality Assurance/testing lifecycle Process is a plus

·        Should have at MINIMUM 1+ years’ experience indeveloping AND executing test cases in a client-driven environment.

·        Experience in using any bug-tracking tool.

Preferred skills

·        Sound knowledge of software testing methodologiesand procedures

·        Hands-on skills in Selenium / JMeter / UFT automationtools in a live environment is a plus

·        Ability to write scripts in Java or VB Script isan advantage

·        Basic SQL concepts and query writing

·        Good communication & interpersonal skills

·        Ability to think ‘OUT OF THE BOX’

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech./M.C.A./BCA/BSc.with Diploma in software testing or quality assurance.
