Assignments include corporate dining facilities, universities, catering companies, private events, weddings, hotels, private clubs, and premier event venues throughout the region.

Due to continued growth in the San Diego market, we are expanding our team and seeking experienced Servers and Bartenders who thrive in dynamic hospitality environments.
Position SummaryServers and Bartenders support a variety of hospitality assignments ranging from weekday corporate dining and business catering to weddings, private events, and large-scale venues. This is a flexible, on-call position ideal for hospitality professionals who enjoy varied work environments and the ability to set availability while maintaining consistent opportunities.
Assignments may be booked weeks in advance or occasionally same-day based on client needs.
Typical ShiftsShifts vary based on client needs and may include:
• Weekday morning and daytime corporate dining shifts• Afternoon and evening events• Weekend weddings and private events
Staff set their availability and accept assignments that fit their schedule. Weekend availability is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional food and beverage service in corporate dining and event environments
Perform tray passing, plated meal service, buffet service, and reception-style service
Set up and break down service areas, including tables, stations, and bar setups
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following service standards (Bartenders)
Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready service environment
Deliver excellent guest service while maintaining professionalism and efficiency
Follow food safety, alcohol service, and sanitation standards
Communicate effectively with captains, chefs, coordinators, and client teams
Follow company policies, uniform standards, and safety procedures
Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of professional serving or bartending experience in restaurants, catering, hotels, or event environments
Comfortable working in fast-paced hospitality settings with changing service styles
Professional appearance and strong guest service skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Responsible Beverage Service certification required for bartenders (or ability to obtain)
Food Handler Card required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
Reliable transportation to assignments within a 25-mile radius of Mission Valley
Strong reliability, punctuality, and communication skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for 6 to 10 hours per shift
Ability to carry trays and lift up to 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive service motions
Ability to work indoors and outdoors depending on event location
Work Environment
Professional hospitality and event environments
Fast-paced service periods with guest interaction
Assignments issued through mobile scheduling; flexibility is essential
Compensation
Hourly pay rate: $19.00–$21.00 per hour (base pay), depending on experience
