Event assignments take place within a 25-mile radius of our Costa Mesa office, serving Orange County and surrounding areas. Assignments include weddings, corporate events, private parties, catering venues, private clubs, hotels, and special event locations throughout the region.

Due to continued growth in the Orange County market, we are expanding our service team and seeking experienced servers and bartenders who enjoy working dynamic events and delivering excellent guest experiences.


Position Summary
The Server / Bartender provides professional front-of-house service for a variety of events, including weddings, corporate functions, private parties, galas, and special events. This is a flexible, on-call position ideal for hospitality professionals who are comfortable working both service and bar roles. Bartenders must have bar experience and be willing to accept serving shifts as needed based on event requirements.


Typical Shifts
Shifts vary based on event needs and may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Flexible, part-time schedules are available.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, professional guest service throughout events
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with event standards and service style
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages when assigned to bar service
• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, linens, bars, and service areas
• Maintain clean, organized, and presentable service and bar stations
• Communicate clearly with captains, supervisors, and event staff
• Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines when bartending
• Follow company policies, uniform standards, and safety procedures


Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of professional bartending experience required
• Previous experience as an event server, banquet server, or in a similar hospitality role preferred
• Bartenders must have full bar knowledge and be willing to accept serving shifts
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Willingness and ability to travel to various event locations throughout Orange County
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and reliable work ethic


Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to work indoors and occasionally outdoors in event environments


Work Environment

• Fast-paced event and hospitality settings
• Structured service periods with changing layouts and timelines
• Assignments issued through mobile scheduling; flexibility is essential


Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay rate: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Weekly pay via direct deposit
