FIELD STAFF

Hello! Destination Management is a destination management company serving meeting planners in many of the country’s most popular destinations. We are here to serve our clients and their guests in every way that we can. We are the collaborators, event planners, logistics coordinators, innovators, creators, and dreamers who do what we love with a passion to please.

OVERVIEW:

Our Hospitality Staff are the friendly faces who represent Hello! when we can’t be everywhere at once. They work hand in hand with the Account Managers to support and execute all the services we offer to make our events successful.

This is not your typical job! The Field Staff position is a part-time role that is perfect for those seeking a flexible schedule and enjoy making a positive impact on our clients.

We have both high and low seasons, so there will be several weeks with no hours and then several weeks with 40 plus hours. We schedule 6 months to 24 hours in advance and shifts can vary from 5 to as many as 16 hours a day.

You will be provided with a company shirt and name badge required to be used on most programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate is eager to work with a positive attitude, people-oriented approach, and great organizational skills. They will have:

  • Ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Self-motivated individual that can handle stressful situations with professional composure
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Ability to walk/stand for 5+ hours during an event
  • The demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize competing work needs
  • Able to work autonomously yet collaborate as part of a team on workflows
  • Reliable Transportation, Computer and Cellphone
  • Good time management and Strong work ethic
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and provide a valid Driver’s License

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will be assigned shifts and tasks based on the client needs, which may require you to work days, evenings, and/or nights as well as holidays and weekends.
  • Respond to shifts through our portal in a timely matter
  • Assist our clients and their guests with contracted services in a professional demeanor.
  • Have a sense of urgency, be proactive and willingness to go one step beyond expectations
  • Work as a team and manage good peer relationships with other Staff members and Account Managers.
  • Assignments will be but are not limited to:
    • Greet guest on Arrivals & Departures transportation to/ from an Airport, Hotel and Port
    • Arrange vehicles so guests can board in a timely and orderly fashion
    • Manage Transportation to/from a specified destination
    • Hospitality staff at a hotel
    • Team building, Tours & Activities
